Dr. Vernon Schlueter grew up in West Point, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Creighton Univeristy. He acquired his Doctorate of Optometry from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Schlueter has been practicing at this location since 2001. He is a highly trained and experienced doctor of optometry and he is certified to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceuticals. Dr. Schlueter is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. He was a 2009 Board Member of the Nebraska Optometric Association. Dr. Schlueter specializes in contact lenses, medical eye care and pre- and post-operative eye care.
Dr. Schlueter is married to his wonderful wife, Casandra, and they have three beautiful children, Sophia, Vollen and Ronan.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schlueter enjoys spending time with his family, striving to be the best husband and father he can be, listening to music of all genres, reading Mental Floss magazine and going for walks with his Golden Retriever, Raja.
